Dwemer Concept Art

Post » Sat Dec 25, 2010 8:56 pm

Any chance someone would be interested in drawing up some concepts for female Dwemer? Other than dark curly hair, which I think is a must, you'd have largely free rein to draw whatever it is you'd like. Just try to keep it lore appropriate (and there is lots of room) and try and add some inspiration from Egyptian/Assyrian/Persian and other near-eastern ancient cultures. My own preference would be heavy makeup around the eyes, something similar to the Egyptians, but not too obviously so.

Anyway, I'm willing to give a free reign with this, and I'd welcome multiple submissions.

And thank you! This would help a lot.

i personally don't see the Dwemer as distinguishing much between either gender. certainly no cleavage, imo.

Dwemer always remind me of Persian and Assyrian styles.

Beautiful! Very much how I imagined them to look.

awe... :sadvaultboy:

You know, Lady Nerevar, I was actually thinking up a character (not an alive character, of course) who could play a role in the Hammerfell Quests surrounding the different ruins. Her role is yet unclear to me, but I could see her being an inventor or perhaps a queen.

Anywho, thank you very much!

EDIT: Not related to the topic, but if anyone can find that very well done concept piece of a Dwemer wearing Oblivion-style armor, I would be very pleased. I've looked around for it, but I cannot find it. I very much believe it was the concept that inspired this mod. http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=18073

Both are really well done, I hadn't seen any female Dwemer sketches before and never tried to imagine - both are Awesome, Sketch 1 is my fave. The dark curly hair is perfect, the eyes are spot on in Sketch 2 as compared to the male drawings I've seen. Still, I picture Sketch 2 being a commoner and Sketch 1 being the wife of...Lord Kagrenac!!! Awesome job you did on these!

You know, it might have been, though I can't be sure. It was certainly very well done. And that would explain why it could have been taken down.

Ah, that would be it then. Not sure on the legalities of sending it to me, but I was thinking of picking up the Collector's Edition eventually. Especially if ESV is announced at this year's E3. Thanks though, LN. At least I know where to look for it. :)
