I couldn't find an answer to my question so pardons if it's been covered already.

So, we can have ten character slots per profile and I'm assuming that we can name each character. My question is, when we play a character online, which name is displayed? The ingame name you give your character or your usual online ID?

Who says that we even get to name each character? Im thinking Online It will be our usual online id.

Yeah I'm thinking Online ID as well especially for Steam.. If your Brotox on Steam when you go in game you're still Brotox.

I belive that when playing online with people your account name is displayed (psn steam xbl) but when choosing a certain character you can name it to give you quick access to what you want when you want it. similiar to CoD where if i name Class 1 "happy face" my ID isnt happy face if i choose the class.

EDIT: not sure about offline... would be a cool feature if names came up otehr than oyur IDas in:

offline: Soul killed Bob

Think of it as Borderlands. (if you have ever played it.) You can name your characters, and by characters I mean your saves, whatever you want. But your [PSN, Gamertag, Steam ID, ect.] shows up to other players. So if you name your character ElectroMcspazatron your [PSN, Gamertag, Steam ID, ect.] will show up to others, not ElectroMcspazatron.
