Will Skyrim be as amazing as its made out to be?

Oblivion was probably one of the most anticipated games for me. The trailers and the way it was talked about made it seem like it was going to be so amazing. I really loved the game no doubt, but when I played it, It wasn't as special as it was made out to be. I guess it's the way devs hype it up.

What wories me is that the game will become "smaler" and "linear".
That's the road allot of modern games days go.
What I would like to hear the most from the man Todd is him saying with a straight look on his face "This game is as big as a TES fan expects in terms of content and size of the game".

Most likely not. The almost zealous prerelease hype assures that (happened with Oblivion and Fallout 3, and will likely happen with Skyrim too) - overhyping in most cases just leads to a disaster, or at least to a disappointment.

More over, I'd probably be more hyped, if the actual hype was more subtle.
