Request - Wall-E robobrain

I just watched Wall-E again last night, such a cool movie... it's kind of wastelandish, with Wall-E collecting trinkets and stuff.. even has a pet roach :P

Anyway, I was thinking it'd be cool to have a companion, but the robobrain is kind of shaped wrong. If you took the robobrain treads, and made the torso out of say... a safe... and used like mister handy arms... you could sort of start to fashion him.

Would it be really possible to do with just mesh and tex editing and no animation changes?

I'm pretty sure you'd have to change the animations to a new one since a safe doesn't have any animations, unless there's something else you could use. But, the animation wouldn't work anyway since all those parts have their own. You'd basically have to start from scratch.

By the way, the link is pretty much useless since it forces me to do one of those pop-up game/interview things, which always ask for a cell number(which I don't have).
