Nope, its confirmed that GFWL is not being used. Steam will.

So is it regular Steam or Steamworks? there is a difference

99% of my crashes on Fallout 3 went away after I disabled GFWL. So no thank you.

This, except increase it for me. I never had a crash that wasnt GFWL related. horrible horrible software...

Yeah, I don't buy games that are Steam only, so how is it "saving PC gaming"? I don't like Steam, I don't like Valve products (just a bunch of FPSes, zzzzzzzzzz), why should I be forced to install middleware?

Because it serves as an easy platform of distribution for developers, and very few people are so shallow as to not buy a game JUST because its a Steam game. So really it makes it easier to sell PC games, and makes it easier for PC gamers to buy games. Since PC gaming is resurgent, and most PC sales are online now adays... its logical that Steam (and similar systems) are helping drive the resurgence. As much as people such as yourself like to trash Steam, and act like there are sooooo many of you who don't buy Steam only games.... your actually a small minority that developers simply ignore these days. Why? Becuase more PC games are sold on Steam then anywhere else.

See, I understand people have legit complaints about Steam (even though I have used it for years without a single issue), and GFWL has given me more issues then I care to remember.... but I absolutely hate when people are like "Man! I hate Valve because there games don't intrest me, so that means I HAVE to hate Steam... but oh yeah, I have never used it and have no reason other then my shallow and childish notion that its evil for some odd reason". I mean seriously, how can you hate a system you have never even used? Thats so irrational...
