Ok something wierd just happened. I went to see Lady Brissenia at some inn awhile back. I've done some quests, (2-3), when I leave a dungeon I get a message about her staying an additional two weeks, and then after travelling back to Daggerfall to get my reward from the mages guild I get another letter saying that I never showed up and that she's reporting me to the emperor. what the heck is going on? I definitely talked to her withing the time limit and even have the logbook entry to check out Wayrest, Sentinel, and Daggerfall castles. I've even been contacted by Morgiah about the emperor's letter. Is the main quest somehow broken now?

The main quest isn't broken (as I recently discovered) as the Lady B quest is optional. You might take a reputation hit but nothing game breaking.

Weird bug though, never encountered that one.

What? No! Seriously? I always thought the Lady Brisienna meeting was required, and that if you didn't meet her the main quest was lost before it began. I thought everyone agreed on that; did we just accept that without ever testing? What losers we turned out to be

I have never tested it either way, but it was a only a few years ago when I first saw someone mention that you could ignore Lady B. Maybe it just means getting assassins during the end game from the Emperor too.

This happened to me as well i went to see all went well i fast travelld to another city and this guy gives me the same letter i thought what the hell i didn't do anything wrong did i. Anyway there seems to be no problem afterwards so dont worry. Im suprised this hasn't been reported to UESPwiki but still if anyone has a UESPwiki account report to them i did have an account but it says i have typed the wrong password. Even when i make a new account it dont work because it wont let me type in the secrity box thing.
