rarely... but thats how it is on the game

A monster having coins makes more sense than a thousand year old tomb. I highly doubt they had the same currency.

This has not been a problem before. I have yet to see anything in an animal that could not have reasonably ended up there. The only things I have ever found are gold, a random small object, or several of the arrows that I just embedded in it.

With the excpetion of the guards whose armor is not available to be taken almost everything else a character is wearing (or any other gear that they are carrying like spare weapons, potions, lockpicks, keys and so on) can be looted off of them. They usually, but not always drop their current weapon.

I doubt a rat could eat money... As for herbivorus animals...

Sharks are more likely to eat money... Animals just don't eat the uneatable... Beside, money will kill them... Eating things that can't be digested, like metal, is dangerous.

I refer you to posts 60 and 64 of this thread, erm..and looking on some more..a few more posts as well.

Heh, I wonder how many posts this thread will make!

Well, I just hope they stay with or even improve that concept. ! gold can be eaten, granted...But few other things are likely to be...I mean would a crab eat a potion...I somehow think not...:)
Anyways...I also hope that everything else the mobs carry is lootable....I.e. a bandit has a sword, an armor and nice hat...you get to pick all that up. Not just because I want to have those things, but 'cos of realism...:)

When did you ever see a crab carrying a potion?
