Did you delete your ini, so the game can create a new one?

I've heard of people having this problem when they install OBSE right away and always use the obse launcher. They never actually run the original Oblivion Launcher and set up the game's INI.

No, you are right, I didn't and quickly deleted all foders - 3 days work.

And I also deinstalled Darn UI and messed the fonts.
Ain't I an idiot! :D

Can't recommend http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1084204-bain-mod-installation-projects/ enough for installing.

If you get the http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=22170 then you will also find that he included ini tweaks for the various fonts thereby making it so that the fonts are super easy to correct without resorting to manual edits or OBMM.

Or you could make your own ini tweaks for Wrye Bash.

I had a game before that refused to start up because of the display size, so make sure your Oblivion is set to a display size your monitor can handle. Aditionally, make sure your computer can run Oblivon. Set Oblivion to the lowest settings and try running it. If you are on Vista install Oblivion to C:/Oblivion (You will have to make the "Oblivion" folder)

there are a few options to try :hehe:

Is your PC even good enough to run Oblivion? Install oblivion to any other place besides the dealt location (because of uac)

You mean the resolution? I doubt its because of that.

I think BoM has fixed it now...correct me if I'm wrong.

Oblivion seems highly vulnerable to "familiarity breeds contempt". Veteran users and mod users often make really silly mistakes because they are confident enough to skip recommended steps on re-installs. Once you do, it's really hard to see your own mistake.
