I need some help:

I have tried using the construction set to place a Varla Stone in Tamriel (ICWaterFront1) and have successfully placed it there. However, it won't work/recharge my items. Is there a reason for this, if so, how can it be fixed?

If it's a perfectly vanilla varla stone, and you didn't alter it in any way, then it should work.

Unless you have a mod that changes the purpose of varla stones in some way.

1: should this be in the CS forum?

2: Make sure you load the CS with JUST the oblivion ESM, then make sure it is just a vanilla stone.

Ok thanks guys for your replies. Now I am using NO other mods other than this one I am experimenting with.

Question: can anyone tell me the path I am meant to take on this (using construction set)? I have looked at my Varla stone and it's in the Misc Items and it says I cannot equip it. I have a feeling it's in the wrong section and I need to put it under stones. How do I do this??

You may have found a different kind of Varla Stone in the CS that was there just to be a misc item. Try to go back into the CS and see if you can find any other Varla Stones in a different location. I've never tried messing with Varla Stones so I don't know where they're supposed to be.

They are supposed to be in Misc Items, so your path is correct. The vanilla Varla Stones will recharge your enchanted weapons (all of them at once). If you don't have any enchanted weapons or all of them are fully charged, the Varla Stones will do nothing. If you modify the Varla Stones in the CS to create a new type (like removing the weight), you will have to add a script to them in order for them to function.
