I have Dungeons and dragons: Eye of the Beholder 2 in the box with the entire floppy disk set. it even says in the instructions to copy the game on to blank floppys  like that would happen today

I loved that game and its prequel.

another great memory is Might and Magic VI: The Mandate of Heaven.

Anyone ever own an Acorn Archimedes? It was my first ever computer, and I was so excited about it. I only ever had 3 games for it, all on 3.5" floppy disk. There was Gods, an excellent side scroller; a mini-game adventure based on Noddy; and a 1945/Raptor style game where you piloted a helicopter or a tank. You'd shoot blocks and get upgrades for your gun. One of which was the star which let you shoot in all 8 directions. The tank turned into a boat when it hit water, and you could do two player. One person controlling the tank, one the helicopter. Does anyone remember the name of this game? I can't find it in lists of Acorn Archimedes games, and I badly want to play it again.

pokemon yellow on the gameboy color... wow... my first video game and video game "system" ever owned... those were the days... I remember when I got it. I loved my parents all over again, and I was the coolest kid on the street because no one else had any video game stuff at all.

Elite, best ever space simulation game. Best because the first. I play it again now with Oolite, probably one of the best free game available.

Dungeon Master, best ever magic spell system. And my first real 3D dungeon game on computer. I cannot call it real RPG

Obviously, Baldur's Gate 1 and 2. I played Fallout 2 but did not kept such great memories of it. The random encounters when travelling were annoying.

It's kinda like a game.... but I remember spending hours and hours just playing that as a really little kid.

Red Alert also gives me nostalgia attacks. Used to play the hell outta that game too.

Nah, I'm 26. But I got into games relatively late, I guess, and PC games really late (Morrowind was one of the first PC games I bought).

Then on N64 there was Donkey Kong 64, Megaman 64 (why doesn everything have a 64?) and Super Smash Brothers...

Same reason as why many games after that had "2000" in the name. It sounded cool and sci-fi'y

Final Fantasy VII - Only my third or fourth favorite Final Fantasy, but easily the game that brings back the most memories. The first Final Fantasy (maybe even first RPG in general) that I played and pretty much shaped my taste in games.

Then which is your favorite FF?

Well a lot of us here are teens. :P

But the stuff I mentioned were from back when I was literally just a toddler.

Donkey Kong and Sci-Fi...

But yeah, I get what you mean, it must have sounded relevant at the time. :P
