Random Bobblehead Mod

Post » Sun Jan 30, 2011 11:37 am

I have begun using the random BH mod and definitely like the fact that I have to search for the BHs. However, I would like to back off from that and at least have an idea of where they could be. I figure that having the 100 possible sites would provide a good checkoff list to guide my searching.

I know that I saw a list of the 5 possible locations for each BH when I originally downloaded the mod, but now I cannot find it. Can someone provide a link to that list of locations?

First I want to thank you for a great laugh! I am being honest here, it cracked me up that you want to have a random locations bobblehead mod, but you wanted to know the locations of them so you don't have to search for them :P

All laughing aside though, I did a quick search and couldn't find a list for you, but I can suggest to just disable the mod so you can find them ;)

From the TESNexus page: "Although it defeats the purpose for the time being I'm including the list of possible locations with the correct building names for COC warping in the Readme."

Yes, I can appreciate your laugh. I started a character and found four of the random BHs by the time I got to level 17. My concern was that at that rate, I would have to get to level 85 to find them all. Of course, that is not the case in reality because I recently played a character to 57 and managed to visit and search every location (I know, you are laughing again because it is impossible to cover every location, but I was awfully close to the impossible at level 57!). With that in mind, I began to think that my new characterI had probably been in the same room with a BH or two and had not seen them. So, I am ready to back off and search 100 locations thoroughly instead of the 20 locations that the BHs are normally known to occupy.

Yes, I found this statement in my search also, however, I could not find the readme file. I went back to my original download and thought that the readme file could be there. I unzipped it again, but the only file was the Bobblehead mod file. Yet, I know that I saw that readme (or at least the location list) somewhere.

By the way, what is COC warping???

Typing "coc XXXXX" into the console with XXXXX being the name of a cell will instantly move you to that cell.

The readme is included in the download from August 17, which I just updated to, so if you don't have it I'd suggest grabbing the update.

Kudos to you getting to those levels, cause I can honestly say that I haven't even come close to those levels :D I guess I can see where it can be frustrating to not find many by the time you get past even level 10. At any rate, the best of luck with your findings!

I went back and downloaded the new MOD (August 17 update). That had the listing of the 100 sites, so this thread can be retired as far as I am concerned.
