[IDEA/WiP] Unique Bosses.

I had an idea for a mod I wanted to work on that would add "bosses" to raider camps and places like the Yau Guai tunnels. Basically there would your standard raiders in say the Springvale School and at the main floor there be the Raider Leader who'd be stronger and have a unique item or armor of some sort. In the Yau Guai tunnels there be an Alpha Yau Guai to fight and just other small things like that to spice up the game abit.

So I have a few questions...

What's your opinion of this idea?
Any places you'd like to have a boss?
Any other comments or suggestions?

Could be an interesting idea. I think the hard part will be making each one feel unique and equally boss (IE Hard!) like since once you start adding them you quickly run out of ideas :laugh:

I'd see about using assets from the mods like UNAR or Scavengers Armor or Tailor Maid to give unique combinations of stuff. Be sure and make sure it's OK obviously.

It sounds like an ideal that probaly should of come with the game after you think about it, you find raiders everywhere but you never really find a leader and since they don't really have a way to communicate bewteen one group to the next they would need someone in each group to lead them or eventlly they would just end up killing each other sooner or later.

You could also have an Alpha male in each dog pack and maybe a commander in enclave groups since the officers arn't really a threat since they don't even wear power armor.

Yeah I would like to do things like that but I haven't seen many weapons or armors the peak my interest enough to think about adding them. Also the bosses will be hard enough to warrant a unique item.

Well Oblivion had bosses. I never noticed until I read that OOO changed them.

Would the ant queen be considered as a boss?

I'm not telling you not to work on this because the current versions have compatibility issues and other imperfections, but there actually is already a raider bosses mod:
