Yep that's what I believe as well. Like in Oblivion with the idle responses à la Morrowind. The voice actors have recorded the lines, they've been implemented in the CS, but they've never been hardcoded.

Actually, PlayerInIronsites works. I did some experimenting a while back and found that it is implimented and does work. However, NPCs only react if they have their 'hostile radius' activated ( not sure if Hostile radius is the correct term. GECK not at hand right now).

I not sure this could be done with stock dialog, but reactions to companions, particularly Fawkes, would be great.


This is a good point... how come nobody bats an eye when a supermutant tromps in to town? :sadvaultboy:
