There's a long-standing issue with overlapping transparencies causing invisibility, hence why your hair often turns invisible under a waterfall.

That's a new one, though.

If you pyffied your body meshes, you probably shouldn't do that.

Does it explain why dismounting a horse turns you invisible? Happened to me in my previous game and I could never figure out why. Fortunately my character didn't like riding horses...

Hmm, well, whatever it is, doesn't seem to want to fix itself, guess i'll have to reinstall, again <_<

Edit: oh, im not turning invisible, i just cant see myself through a light mesh which is supposed to be transparent <_<

oh, it can't be pyffi which is causing problems, because i never activated/ started using the meshes, i just compiled them into a bsa.

here are the types which i used: architecture
clutter
dungeons
furniture
landscape
plants
rocks
sky

is that ok?

how do i create an omod pyffi by the way? <_<

Edit: Hah, you've got to be joking, i was just about to uninstall via. the launcher when it told me the hardware was not recognized,
so i went to configure it in the graphics menu, for one last try, and, low and behold, it works!

<_<

Sod's law ;D
"-anything that can go wrong will go wrong"
in this case; even when i make my mind up to install, that goes wrong, and things start working again ^_^

I wouldn't think so. The one I'm familiar with is most often seen with hair (which has transparency in the NIF) when you stand under a waterfall (where the water has transparency as well). The hair goes invisible, but the rest of the body stays the same.

It looks like it could be a similar issue, but if you haven't started using the pyffied meshes, I can't imagine where it comes from.

So I found out that it's OBGE2 3.0.0.0 causing the bug :(

Especially when you're using SSAO, I think. I never had that problem with older version, IIRC.
