Patches for Oblivion : IV

Decided to reinstall Oblivion and have another blast on it with the add ons, so I was wondering what patches I need and in what order?

Reinstall Oblivion, so that means your on PC. You'll want the latest patch 1.2 something which if I remember correctly that patch deals with The Shivering Isles problem too. You could also get the Unoffical Patch but you don't need to get that patch. The Unoffical patch fixes the small things that completely matter to people like getting the right time schedule for NPC's, correct spelling, etc.

I wouldn't call fixing things like the bow reach bug "small." That bug causes CTDs. There are other CTD-causing fixes - and shame on Bethesda for never bothering to fix these things after being repeatedly informed about them - in the patch as well. You are mis-characterizing the patch by implying that it covers only small things like time schedules and spelling.
