Can anyone from Bethesda confirm if the PS3 version of the Oblivion 5th Anniversary Edition will support Trophies?

It says trophies right there on the box art, so yes.

Will they add these trophies to the older PS3 versions as well? Cause I'm not buying it again just for trophy support.

Also just cause I'm curious and it's pretty important, I wonder if this version will fix the infamous vampire cure glitch.

They've also done this on games like Metal Gear Solid 4 and Saints Row 2 on the greatest hits editions. The boxes actually had trophies written in the same spot, with no trophy support. I've held a physical copy in my hands. Granted those weren't "5 year anniversary editions", but it still brings up the question is this too good to be true, for those of us that care about trophies? It'd be nice to be able to get some sort of concrete answer from someone from Bethesda. I'd gladly play through my favorite game for my.....what 5th time to get that Plat.

Who knows. I've always just thought that since every game past a certain point has trophies, sony uses some sort of template for games.

They're the PlayStation equivalent of gamer points for the 360. Basically, they're little awards of different ranking that are obtained by accomplishing certain things in games and they get added to one's profile for bragging rights.
