*SPOILER* Most epic thing EVER

Post » Fri Feb 18, 2011 6:24 pm

Ok, so in the podcast when they were talking about if your character knows he/she is dragonborn, Todd told the most epic thing ever.

An event happens with a dragon, and the Greybeards learn quickly and shout your name, Dovahkiin!, Dragon Born!, from the Throat of the World and the earth trembles under the power of their voice!

Any one else think this is epic beyond epic?

I cant wait just to play through that moment.

It sounds amazing. I almost wish I hadn't heard it in the podcast - I can imagine that wtf moment when I hear "DOVAHKIIN!" echoing around the mountains.

I will be honest, I had chills go down my spine imagining this moment when Todd was speaking about it. It really sounds like it will be cool. To hear in a deep thunderous voice "Dovahkiin" after you find out you are dragonborn just sounds really cool. Here let me check my cool-o-meter *checks* yep, its in the red at "large amounts of win".

Makes me think of when I saw on The Lore that the most powerful Nords could shout so loud that they can't speak without breaking everybody's ears.
That would be epic.

that is going to be so epic, I hope it is the very begining, you just see a guy yell dovakkiin and you just go very fastly over skyrim and zoom in on your character about to get execute and he hears it

I still bang my head on the wall for listening to that. It's sounds so great if unexpected. But then again, I always do this. Going for the spoilers. I'm just too curious.

As dreadfully overused (and misused) as the word "epic" is, it may actually be appropriate when applied to this mini-spoiler of Todd's. What's most exciting about it for me is what it might imply about the developing events of Skyrim's plot; the earth trembling under the power of the Voices of the Greybeards might only be the tip of the proverbial (or literal!) iceberg.

That is cool, but the forum is already being flooded with new topics.

Todd said that it will take a while before they shout to you.
