auto leveling yay or nay

What do you want? I want no Auto leveling.

Auto leveling is what ruined oblivian for me, i could not tell you the hours i had in morrowind but i didnt even finish oblivian. there was no point in leveling up at all because it was just as hard at level 1 as at level 30. the npc's should all be set at whatever level and stay there. and as u get stronger and better u will be able to take them on just like in morrowind.

i loved morrowind. the dwarven ruins were awesome, the best weapons and armor were hidden all over the island, and the story was just plain better. my 2cents

No to auto leveling.
But if I am exploring Skyrim and I get one-shotted by an enemy I will want auto leveling.

Sounds like your talking about level scaling. And no, Skyrim's won't be like Oblivion's.

Morrowind had level scaling
Oblivion had level scaling
Daggerfall had level scaling
and yes Skyrim will have it too, just becuase it wasn't implemented perfectly doesn't mean that bethesda hasn't learned or made it better, I think it was said somewhere that it is gonna be like FO3

Do you mean level scaling? If so it's like FO3 which is kinda like MWs anyway.

You mean level scaling. When I saw Autoleveling I thought you meant a seamless level-up system.

And as for level scaling, I'd definitely prefer if it was either done away with completely or extremely limited. If the game balance is well crafted then even at high levels things like goblins could still provide a challenge without being beefed up. As you said, what point is there in levels with global stat increases when everything you fight will always be on roughly the same playing field. At least until the balance tipped over due to poor planning that could have been avoided if levels were removed entirely.

I wouldn't like level scaling as it was in Oblivion, but they've said it is more like F:3, which sounds much better imo.

NO! I like to be able to choose to level up whenever I want to.
If your talking about Level scaling then NO! to level scaling and Remove level scaling completely.
