NOTE: To those who care, Eternal Hunt will continue alongside this RP.
Introduction and Commentary
If you want an RP that lets you be anything you want, go elsewhere. This has a plot and
a purpose, and if you wan't to RP here, you need to follow that plot, and have a similar
purpose. The plot revolves around a man, RPed by me (Note: I'll RP various characters) that
has a Sigil Stone in his stomach. Yes, you read that right. A Sigil Stone in his stomach.
But not just any Sigil Stone. A Grand Sigil Stone. What's that, you ask? Well, it's something
that a lot of important people want. Umbacanno, a collector of rare and valuable antiquities,
just happens to want this stone. He of course, will send out many, many treasure hunters
and mercenaries to track down this stone. A Daedric prince even wants this stone, Mr. Dagon
himself. why? Well, because this Grand Sigil Stone once belonged to him. And after his failure
to destroy Cyrodiil a while back, he has decided to try again, now that his soul has been
recycled. It just so happens he needs this stone now.
If that's not enough, the Dark Brotherhood has been asked to kill this man, from a secretive
client. But this man has allies as well as enemies. He just doesn't know it. Legion spies
have been asked to watch this man, ensuring his safety. They have been told to intervine
and use deadly force if necessary. The Mages guild has also heard of this stone, and several
within that group wish to help the man, without, of course, killing him. So, this man has
enemies, who want this stone, and allies, who wish to help him. This is where you come in.
Are you a greedy mercenary hired by Umbacanno? A knowledgable Mage who wishes to get this
stone to fortify your guild's magical powers? Or are you just a nobody, who happens to
get tangled up in this mess... well, it's up to you. But remember, if this stone falls into
the wrong hands... all of Nirn could be at stake...

The Intro
It was midnight when a shackled man was thrown in the prison of the Imperial City.
He was not told of the crimes he committed, or the things he would soon do for the nation.
He could hear the guards speak of an attempt on his life, though he had seen nothing of the sort
on the way to the prison. At half an hour past 12, he was taken from his cell, into the sewers.
The prisoner was led by half a dozen armored guards, who had strange, exotic swords.
They didn't speak, or even tell him where he was going. Along the way, he heard loud booms,
almost like explosions or a heavy impact hitting the palace. He even thought he heard a scream.
The party almost reached the exit, which would have led to a hidden cavern beneath the lake.
Almost. Something had been stirring in the darkness, following them. It's breath was icy cold,
and it's eyes were dark and unmoving. It made silent, determined strides in it's pursuit.
They never knew it was there. If only they had reached safety before...

Imperial City, Elven Gardens

Berrik rubbed his arms for warmth, as a cold breeze whipped against his body. He stood atop
a tall Inn, just a few blocks south of the Palace. He had a pefect vantage point of the
graveyard and the entrances. Berrik sighed, fog escaping his mouth and into the night.
He had been assigned to watch the Palace, making sure nobody unauthorized snuck in. Very
little about this mission had been told, other than it being high priority. Chances were,
every Legion operative in the area had been assigned on this job. Berrik drew a shimmering
silver shortsword from his waist, as a cloaked figure approached the Palace. He met with
the Palace Guards, and Berrik was sure they were informing him that the place was off limits.
Suddenly, the cloaked figure sent a bolt of electricity riveting up the stairs, striking a
guard in the stomach. He flew from his perch, and rolled down the stairs. Before the other
guard could even draw his weapon, a Skeleton the robed man summoned struck him in the head
with a spiked club, knocking him out cold.
Just great, thought Berrik, cloaking himself with an Invisibilty spell.
