Cameron is a Gaelic clan from the western Highlands of Scotland ;)

Camoran is a Bosmer-Ayleid royal dynasty who commenced the first era by becoming the ruling dynasty of Valenwood ;)

I'm from Clan Moore. May our halls be forever filled with song and mead. Well... actually, I'm pretty sure the old family castles are derelict and creeping with moss nowadays. Heh.

Such are the fates of all Dynasties it appears. Including the Camoran Dynasty. Its last three known members having died at the hands of the CoC. And good riddance to their deranged kind. May Tamriel never be stained by the presence of another.

They might still be alive, but not like the deranged kind of Haymon or Mankar. The Camoran Dynasty might have some heirs left in Valenwood.

Celia Camoran is mentioned in The Heist quest. Since she's allowed to take an Elder Scroll, she must be pretty important.

I would assume the not-crazy ones (what few there seem to be) would still be an influential Valenwood noble family, probably, based on the fact that they are allowed to see the Scrolls, fully Imperialized.

...and based on the fact that their rule in Valenwood is what is considered the starting date of the 1E. That should make them the most ancient dynasty in Tamriel, certainly the most ancient one we know (some Summerset families, espeically the royal line of Alinor, might be older, of course). And as per PGE, 3rd Edition, the Imperial insitituted a figurehead King in Valenwood (similar to Baranziah and Helseth in Morrowind, one can guess) who is a Camoran. Its his throne the Usurper usurped, so seeing as he wasnt the rightful king, and seeing as no abolition of the throne was mentioned, we can still assume theres a Camoran King of Valenwood.
