Overhaul Load Order

I'd love to see a common FWE, FOOK2, WMK, MMM torrent and/or installer. Just as described in the original post. It could make getting these mods running together less of such a hassle (and possibly more stable) for the majority of us users.

FACE2.esm just adds some eyes and hairs to the selections, I don't think it directly edits anything.

Also I solved the problem, DUI wasn't installed properly and was causing the CTD.

I installed this whole load order and as soon as I got in, I knew I stood no chance in this Wasteland... not with the pre-knowledge I had of the vanilla game's Wasteland. I swear... I used to be afraid of Super Mutants and Deathclaws... now I'm afraid of molerats and raiders...

I had a question, though. I might've done something wrong when installing the mods, or my load order may be off, but it seems that all the enemies are really overpowered... on my level 25 character with NAPA power armor (it's a mod), a single Enclave soldier is able to take me from half HP to death with a single shot from a plasma rifle... is that normal? I understand that with all the skill changes, my character's probably incredibly weak, but it still seems... strange...

Other than that, I think this is just too awesome!

Okay, yeah, I should've realized that the NAPA armor was, er... designed for Vanilla Fallout and not the overhauled version... it's damage resistance altogether was 9... I'm going to fix that tomorrow.

I have another question, though... it seems that some NPCs have no clothing on. It's as if the armor they're supposed to be wearing is not there. For example, Willow outside of Underworld, and the officers at Project Purity... I think I'm either missing something, or my load order is messed up. It's a duplicate of the load order at the beginning of this topic, though, so I don't know what to do but ask.

That can happen when the "Use All" flag is ticked for an LVLI (leveled list) without its "Calculate for each item in count" and/or "Calculate from all levels <= player's level" flag(s) getting unchecked as the "Use All" flag is supposed to supersede the other two. Xporc recently figured that out and FOOK has seen to it that all of its LVLI's are fixed for v1.1, but its only instances were for Raider leveled lists, so it sounds like something else in your load order might have the same issue.

Potentially, but that's stabbing in the dark. I just looked and neither FOOK nor FWE would be causing that to happen to Willow [NPC_:000C4F40] (I don't have all of the plugins in the OP list to check). http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=637 is your friend. You'll find FOOK2 v1.0 does alter her inventory, but that particular LVLI doesn't have extraneous flags checked, so it's bound to either be another plugin altering her, her REF, or ???.

I checked FO3Edit... no idea what I'm doing, but I think I managed to find her NPC data... all of it checks out... at least, what it shows me for columns, which are Fallout3.esm, FOOK2 - Main.esm, FOOK2 - Main.esp, and FO3 Wanderers Edition - FOOK Support.esp

I do, see, however, that under the column for FO3 Wanderers Edition - FOOK Support.esp, when I scroll down to "NAM5 - Unknown", it's got a... value of 255, whereas all the ones to the left of it have a value of 56177...


I wonder... could it be that I have Realistic Wasteland Inhabitants loading almost last? That might be it, actually... except, I don't quite know where I should put that in my load order. I'm going to try moving it up a bit and see if that has any effect.

{EDIT}

No, that wasn't it... still nothing. I looked in their inventories and found out that they have no armor to wear... so apparently, somewhere, one of the mods I have didn't include the armor for these characters...

Doesn't really matter, the files that overlap are usually identical across those mods.

The main file names are all identical, so basically yes.

There's only one new file name, which has to be updated in BOSS: FO3 Wanderers Edition - Optional Restore Tracers (automatics only).esp
If you chose to install that, the file belongs simply below all the other FO3 Wanderers Edition -XXXXX.esps

I have 3 questions:

1.How does http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=10193 handle the load orders with all these overhauls + a few other mods in FO3?
A while ago I used it for Oblivion (with FCOM and many other mods) and it worked great.

2.What about the unofficial patch?
I've read about the instability issues. But I think it is too important and I'll try the http://www.mediafire.com/?z3qmlzyzomy. If I get UF3P related crashes I'll try FO3 masterupdate.
I guess the patch should load first, before everything else, not sure about the dlc patches when I remember how it was handled in Oblivion.

3. Any other non overhaul mod (i.e. weather mods, RobCo Certified...) should load after the MMM files just before the merged patch, right?

I'm trying to get Weapon mod kits to work. I've got the order as you list it, and while the mod kits are there, the option to actually use them does not appear when I use the work tables. I get 'scrapper' and activate but the weapon mod doesn't come up. Any thoughts?

The activation perk for workbenches is integrated in WMK, so I would guess something replaces your workbenches. I don't know which mod adds "scrapper", posting your load order would be helpful.

This thread is a few months old, but it looks like I'm in the right place, so I'm gunna bump this. For a while now I've been having a problem with my FO3. When you start it up, it goes through all of the screens, but does not allow you to skip them, and your mouse does not load like normal. Also once it gets to the menu screen there is no menu, just the background. I have been searching for a while and cannot fine a solution to this problem. Here is my load order if you need it.
