Which of my mods modifies the Springvale area?

Post » Sat Feb 19, 2011 9:13 am

I'm using the Mini Hideout mod and noticedhttp://img411.imageshack.us/i/errorbv.jpg/. I tried going through my mod list but could not figure out which mod could also be conflicting with the mini hideout mod. Can someone please tell me which mod might be conflicting? I've used boss to sort my load order (had several un-recognized mods though).

FOW - Last Child of Gallifrey adds that. Quest item.

Ah, I was wondering if that might be the culprit. While a compatibility patch would be nice, I have a few other house mods installed so I can get rid of Mini Hideout in favor of Fallout Who, though both are great mods (I love the mini hideout, it's a nice starter house).

Just a heads up, once I finish my new update to DCInteriors I will be adding an new Raider shack to Springvale. It is the boarded up house across the street from the school and, down the block from Silvers pad.

will this be a conflict? I haven't tried or, tested with ether of these mods yet.

@ CevSteel - The raider shack that you will be adding, will not conflict in any way with the Mini Hideout mod. I am not 100% sure about FOW - Last Child of Gallifrey, but I highly doubt that it will conflict there either, but I will wait for someone to reply that is 100% sure.

Thanks, this tread just put one of those oh my god. :banghead: thoughts into my head. I really like the cell I've added in the Wasteland edition which happens to be in Springvale. I will do my own testing but, I was thinking that someone I didn't know about had already filled in that interior.

Edit,

Browncoat, I'm sorry if it sounds like I'm trying to hyjack your thread, I thought your question was somewhat answered and, I got scared about potential unknown conflicts. and my mod does live in your lode order list. :celebration:

Doesn't sound like it will conflict with the Maintenance Shack mod either. The maint shack is at the base of the water tower, on the Megaton side away from Springvale.

So either there's a bug with the mod or I have another mod that I have not identified that affects that area...because I started a new game without the Mini Hideout mod and the floating object is still there...

I will install FOW - Last Child of Gallifrey (already have it download) and test it out for you. I have been meaning to test it out, so here is my perfect opportunity to do so :)

[edit to add]Ok, yes, it is FOW that is showing that hand break, the skeleton and there is a sensor on the ground as well. My guess is that the Tardis is there, but disabled until the quest starts. The hand break didn't get disabled.

Funny thing about my game though...The texture for that whole rocket ship and the base is washed out, as well as with most of the building next door to it. I am going to uninstall it and see if it returns to normal.
[edit to add again] Textures returned to normal when I un-installed all of the files. I guess I better go and report that.

Okay, thanks for checking it out! Glad to see I'm not the only one who has that problem...thought I was going crazy there for a moment :D
