Anything new?

I haven't played Oblivion or been on the forums in about a year, what're some sweet mods that've come out in that time? Also, does anyone know if there are any crafting mods? Something I could use to be entirely self sufficient for a hunter/ranger type character. Being able to make your own arrows and clothing out of animal pelts would be cool.

Ummm alot of new mods have come out, to list them would be quite hard unless you specifically cateogorized what type of mods your looking for... but i'll just put a few that i use

http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=18305 is a great mod that overhauls the weather and lighting system (read description on link for better details)

http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=19628 was out over a year ago but has of course been upgraded and is a 'cant play without' mod, same with http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=16513 which has been updated, an now has another option for better FPS.

http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=25078 is an economy overhaul, which is very good

http://devnull.sweetdanger.net/convergence.htmlhttp:// is a fantastic collection of overhauls, including OOO, War Cry, Francesco's Leveled Creatures-Items, and most importantly (for you i believe) is MMM... because MMM has a Hunting and Crafting element, which makes the bones and pelts of animals usefull for creating Arrows and Armor.

there are loads of others that i have missed, but i think this is a good base to start getting back into Oblvion with... But MMM is definately the one you need to get if you want a Druid/Ranger type person because of the crafting :)

Sounds a bit like you'll like Craftybits. Skinning animals, crafting of all sorts(short of daedric weapons and armor), even home building in the latest version, and it's fun. I haven't used MMM's crafting in years now, since I can do all of that and more with Craftybits.
