Are there any ebony or daedric staffs in Daggerfall? I'm a level 17 wizard and I've found massive tons of every other sort of daedric item...found all the armor pieces, several different helmets and shields, and every other weapon. But I have yet to find a daedric staff. In fact, I haven't even seen an ebony staff. So...do staffs like these exist, or are they just really rare? I'm trying to find an ebony or daedric staff to use my daedra lord soul on to make an uber archmage enchanted item.

Yes, they exist. It's just difficult to see what a staff is made of, as only the cap on the end changes color. It's easiest to 'info' the staff each time just to be sure.

I always info every staff I come across...still never found a daedric staff. Ok, as long as I know they exist, I won't give up the search. Hope you had a good birthday!
