Just wondering, since Bethesda is going to the trouble of doing yet another release of Oblivion, does anyone know if the infamous Vampirism bug that affects the PS3 version will be patched now? I've heard that trophy support is being patched in to the 5th Anniversary release, which, if true, means that this release isn't just a reprint of the GOTY version in a different case. So if they are patching the code, why not take out the Vampirism cure glitch?


Also, does anyone know if this new release will be finally be a true GOTY edition and have all of the DLC (Mehrunes' Razor, Wizard's Tower, etc) on disc?

considering that it will include Vile lair which has a thing to instantly cure vampirism i don't think it really matterz

Really? It's been confirmed that this new release will contain all DLC on disc? And is that true for both PS3 and Xbox versions? Would you happen to have a link or something to where this was confirmed?

That has not been confirmed. The only thing confirmed is the GOTY edition, which includes SI+NOTN.

I am sure the only DLC that will be included is the same as last time, Shivering Isle and Knighs of the Nine, no other DLC will be in it.

Just go back and see what the CE edtion contained and that is what you will get. Heck it's the same map so nothing different will be in it.

So no the vampire quest I doubt will be fixed.

One of the sites that originally reported on the story said that it would include horse armor (so assuming that it would have all the dlc not just horse armor). This was only one website reporting this so don't hold your breath. We won't know for sure until the game releases or we finally get an announcement from bethesda.

Then what's the point of buying the damn thing if there no DLC for PS3? Seriously. We need the Vile Lair. At least I do.
