I have not had time to work on fixing the idle animation's mounting animation, so you may still have a hit & miss when mounting the guar..It is on my list of things to fix, but, I am trying to devote my time right now to MMM and get beta4 out..


Ok Core, i can understand MMM has priority (comes from a big MMM fan here as well :)) so take your time.

Ill do a reinstall anyway and ill get back on it.

Something else to consider for the next release: Why not have the color options for the guars already in-game?? So instead of messing with the esps I can just choose the one that I want in-game.

Bump for Pack Guars..

The problem with this, I would have redesign almost everything,

since my spells are tied to persistent referenced guar that are placed in the world..I would have to add new location's where you could find them that are different colors and new spells that are tied to them..

You could just merge the color esp into the ppg.esp itself..to save a esp slot..

I know MMM also adds guars, but only wild ones I guess. So if I would want packguars and mountable ones, I also need this mod, right?

Anybody finding their guars dying too much. I know I am..

If so reply so I can adjust their stats has needed..

Also could add a new spell so that you can heal them has well?

I thought you would, I will adjust their stats and send you beta to test out.

and perhaps Buddah has well, not sure if he is playing much anymore busy with real life stuff and his tesnexus duties..?

How about giving them 1 health regeneration then there's no need for a heal spell to clutter up your spelll book :)

Also how about a limit on their carrying capacity? I find it almost a cheat to be able load the pack guar with 1000 weight units.


oh btw the woman who sells the guars are always getting into a fight with the men at the village. I saw her sneaking once, the way someone who's on their way to steal something do. I also sometimes arrive at the village and a fight brakes out. I always console resurrect her when visiting the village, but it's a little annoying.

I was going to do that give them health regeneration and not clutter up the spells,

Carrying weight, I do not know how to limit this. If somebody knows how to limit the amount of items that are stored in chest then I could do this.

Pack Guar Merchant fighting with other npcs..Are you using Servant of the Dawn..

Sneaking you say, found the problem she has an eat package but no food to go along with it. Has that is what is causing her to do this, Her responbility is less than 30, so she will seek out food if another npc is carrying. She will try and get if from them, if she has to kill them to get to it she will. Will fix in next release that should fix that problem..

I don't know how to limit the capacity of a chest but I'm pretty sure kuertee does since his new mod http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=8766 says:

The carrying capacity of horses is 110% their base health.

That feature requires OBSE, just downloaded the mod and looked at the code for limiting the capacity of item that horses carry.

I do not want to force users to use obse with this.

But I have another idea about how to do this. I can remove the unlimited chest that store items and let the packguars themselves determine how much they can carry which is about 250lbs. Their strength determines how much they carry. which is currently 50, 250 lbs is quite a bit, max is 500lbs at strength of 100. Let me see what I can do

Yes, I am aware of mounting issue with pack guars, sometime's the animation go haywire for a sec. And you when you go to mount, you unmount and then remount or sometimes pack guar rolls over with you on it.

It is either animation bug with idle animation or the idle animations are not right in cs idle animation manager (and I checked them no telling how many times) so lead me to believe a animation bug itself.

Else it work fine, get's annoying every once in while
