Ok so today I was listening to music then the screen went black. It got to the last song but it stayed black. I can still hear the clicking noise of the ipod when I press a button but it won't charge, the screen wont light back up, or anything. Is there anything I can do? Cus it's been over a year and the warranty is gone.

Just try turning it off for awhile and see what happens. or can you not turn it off because the screen is black?

Did you try resetting it by holding the middle button and either the Menu or the Play part of the wheel down for a feww seconds?

dang... ya the only other option is what blademaster said, or waiting until the battery dies.

It wont reset. I'm just gunna wait for it to die and then see what I can do.

I doubt this would work but plug it into your computer and click Restore to factory default? It worked when my dads froze up but still played music. Not the same thing, but perhaps worth a shot if your next move doesn't work :shrug:

The ipod wont even sync :/.
