Faction Vs Campaign Start : Othor Games

Oh, I forgot I didn't post the one part in my original reply to you. I cut it into Notepad to tell you later or edit into my reply to you. Part now posted below.

Speaking of multiplayer, I caved. I'm getting it day of release, so you and I can co-op the game if you really want. I still think a solo immersion experience would be most ideal for me (I did the same with Reach, just six hours straight of solo campaign, not a hint of co-op or multiplayer till I finished) but I suppose I would not be object to opening my first playthrough to limited co-op.

You mis understand me. I want to play the first campaign by myself as well. Just the Resistance one together and hopefully Urban as well.......

I like the Security best, and am going with them most of the time.

I'll play through both campaigns, and if enough friends are playing Resistance, I'll go with them occasionally, but mostly I intend to be Security.

I'm much more partial to Security, but I will play Resistance campaign first to see the opposite side and then save my fav faction for last. (It's like me playing Decepticons first so I can savor the Autobot campaign later in TF:WFC, lol).

I will play both sides in the end, but I'm not sure whether to use the same character or not.... Maybe one for both ("mercenary") and then a character exclusive to each faction?

.....It would be kind of hilarious and a bit jarring regardless to see my character not only be in opposite factions, but having different "personalities" as well---especially in cutscenes, lol.
Imagine changing from the loud "leader" in the cutscene through one playthrough and then playing some mute Joe-smoe who's picking up boxes in the next playthrough, hee. :laugh:

We've heard that completing both campaigns will get you to level 14. It is reasonable to assume that levels are not equally spaced in terms of XP (you will hit level 3 from level 2 faster than hitting level 16 from level 15) so I'm thinking by the time you finish the Security campaign, you will easily be level 7, maybe closer to 10.

Not bad. That'll give me 5 universal abilities (like combat intuition, not gernade shooting) and 2 medic abilities.....unless they svck then i'll do more universal ones......

I'll play both campaigns, but I'll play the Security campaign first.
I'll probably play the maps in the campaign first before I play them in the "matches," so I won't be "spoiled" before I play the missions.

(Did that make sense?)
