Groovatron problems

Post » Sat Feb 19, 2011 3:37 am

The game starts fine, but whenever I load a save, or start a new game, it crashes either instantly, or in about 2 seconds of actual gameplay/being born.

The most simplified load order which has this problem:
Fallout3.esm
The Groovatron.esp

Apologies if I'm missing something obvious, I just got Fallout 3, and the first mod to give me a problem, is the groovatron. I have the umpa animation mod downloaded like it said, and I downloaded the modified skeleton for the facial expressions.

What is going wrong? It seems to be something within the mod itself, because it's obviously not a missing master. How should I fix it?

Thank you for your time.

It seems to me that the Groovatron requires the http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=634 in order to run.
I had thes up and running in past.

Sorry for the late reply, and thank you for answering. However if you notice I mentioned in the opening post that I had the umpa animation. Here is the quote if it's too much trouble to track it down:

Edit:
Ah yes, and all three, including the groovatron are properly installed as far as I can tell. I installed them and made sure they were in the proper directory in the same manner as I did for all of my working mods, which of course unlike the aforementioned groovatron, work.

Second Edit: Also like the groovatron's readme states I have the umpa esp disabled. Just in case that wasn't evident in my load order up there.

By any chance, did you install the V2-72 Update file without installing the main file (V2-7) first? I only ask because when I first installed the Groovatron I did just that, and it did all kinds of weird things before I discovered what I had done wrong.
