Just wondered what your thoughts on what system requirements Skyrim will have. I am a console gamer but have been looking to get into PC gaming. I intend to start low and have been looking at a selection of gaming laptops.
HP Pavilion dv6-3130sa:
Dual Core Intel Core i5-460m 2.53Ghz 4 GB DDR3 RAM 500 GB Hard Drive ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470 - 2202 MB memory.
Do you think that this would be able to run Skyrim? Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
I'd recommend building your own, it's very easy and you can get some really good deals.
However, consider that this game has to run on the consoles, and they're 6 years old now. You pretty much won't be able to buy a gaming class PC that won't play it. However, you should totally look at: http://tinyurl.com/falconguide
While you could buy a prebuilt PC, you can get something for much less if you put the parts together yourself.
I am sure it will play fine, due to having to play well on consoles. I am building one because my PC is over 5 years old, and it would lag a bit because of having lots of mods.
My system better work, built a new one just so it can run Skyrim when it comes out. It can run Fallout3 on Ultra, so I'm expecting at least a high graphic setting for Skyrim. And also I'm sure the requirements for Skyrim will not be so intense... More people could by and play the pc version if it doesn't require a top model.
the requirements will be very low, but I expect to run at its best it will take at least a geforce 8800, that seems like its the cutting off point for most games (bioshock, AC, I also think black ops)
