Brink at i42

Not sure if anyone has linked this already, but there is some coverage of Brink at Multiplay's i42 event here http://www.kitguru.net/software/gaming/darkliquid/brink-shown-exclusively-at-multiplay-i42-%e2%80%93-hands-on/

*edit* added video link which shows a lot more including views of those that played it http://www.fileplay.net/channels/iseries/i42/13661/insomnia-42-ilive-byte-4?page=3

"It seems that top game developers like the idea of starting with the PC – to really let their dreams fly – and then scale back to what’s possible on something like a PlayStation."

Yeah, sadly this is how it works.

I totally want one of those!

Overall, not much content in this, huh? Also not very up to date: "According to the Brink web site, the game will be available in Spring 2011, but we guess it will depend on when you believe Spring ends."

"if the faces of the gamers we saw at Multiplay i42 were anything to go by – Jamie and his team have a winner on their hands."

But this sounds promising.

I was considering going to i42, I'm only an hour's drive away from Newbury but unfortuantely I didn't know Brink was there until two days ago.

Also, the demonstration was only on Xbox, so I'd only have been watching anyway. <_<

Hey I'm not a fan of the Xbox myself but if it gave me the option to tryout Brink I would Def pick-up the controller and figure it out as I go along especially if I was only an hour away.

Oh likewise, but I only found out after the event had started.

Modern Warfare 2 posters in the background. Uhum ...

But the bits I could see from the map looked good.
And I believe I saw a pilot helmet in that video, too. Which would be amazing! Loved the one in Rainbow Six Vegas 2 already.
