Anyone here want to finsh this mod?

I've finished the basic texture (with lots of help from people one this site such as Ghogiel) but it just needs it be finished.

Current Model:

Finished Model:

Here's a link to the file:

The weapons and stuff are meant to be there for aesthetic reasons only and hopefully they'll stay like that, but i respect the decision of the modder who finishes this. The helmet's not important. The person who finishes it can take full credit for it, so long as they also credit the other modders

Credits:
legs-toxa01, EvilEngine, Proj3ct_ZeRo, Medrop, Rentehdragon, Rkelly

Pistol-joe camel, RedRogueXIII, RTSBanana

cape-experimental

hands-toxa01

rifle-Einherjrar

If any other part of the model looks like someone else's, that's just a coincidence ^ those people are the only one i borrowed off.

Links are broken

Also, Im skeptic of anything that comes from Toxa. They have a history of ripping things from other games.

Yup. It uses parts from the Halo armor, which are 100% illegal.

Certain combinations of vertices are illegal? News to me.

You might as well remove most of the armours at the Nexus, seeing as they look similar to other armours. You can never be sure about whether someone ripped a few polygons or so from somewhere!

Since I can guarantee those legs and boots are from the Halo armors floating around, that makes their use illegal. They were ripped from Halo.

Don't be disingenuous. The legal issue is not "combinations of vertices" it's if he took content from somewhere else and reused it without permission- if he built it vertex-by-vertex to be the same or near identical (e.g. the Ordinator Armour from Oblivion) then it's ok, if he copied chunks of armour from another game it's not. And as much as you may like the armour, I think you'd have a hard time arguing the modeller would have the skills required to create those legs from scratch.

I took the legs and feet from toxa01's halo mod; considering how they've been on the site for a long time, i'm guessing he built it from scratch, and toxa01 probably is skilled enough

Toxa has been known to rip at the very least 99% of everything they have posted. And i know for a fact (Via mesh matching) that the halo armors are ripped.

Don't assume that just because it is on nexus, that it is legal.
