P.S. I put the title for my story "Nerevarine Chapters", but I might change it.
Chapter 1 - Part 1 ---
I kneeled by the fire as the sun began to set. Everybody in the encampment was packing up for the long voyage home. The expedition to Akavir began over 50 years ago and many of those that had come with me were killed, the lucky ones died of old age and one or two families had children. As for me, I retained the same aspect that I had 50 years ago. My curse never allowed me to age or die of natural causes and the experience that I’ve gained over the years never let me fall in battle.
Many years ago I decided that if I was going to live forever I might as well learn everything there is to learn of the world and beyond. So I decided to come to Akavir, the land of monsters, and seek knowledge of this fantastic yet deadly land. During my time here I learned new fighting styles, ways to manipulate magicka and many more things that I hoped never to use during my existence .Now that I knew everything I could about this land I found no reason to stay in this hell hole any longer.
Everything would be ready by nightfall and in the early hours of the day we would sail for Tamriel. A stared at the flames of the fire and began to wonder how much had changed in Tamriel and how many people that I knew and loved had passed away. My thoughts were abruptly interrupted by screams coming from the edge of the camp, which was pretty far away from where I was. I stood up as a dunmer ran towards me. As he came closer I saw the scratches that covered his body. When he finally reached me he fell on his hands and knees. I leaned down to help him up, but he screamed as my hand wrapped around his waist.
“What’s happening,” I asked him as I laid him gently on the ground.
“Kamal…,” he began, but blood began to rise up his throat and he stopped breathing. My eyes grew wide with fear. The Kamal were one of the natives of Akavir and it was all but impossible to kill one.
“EVERYBODY, GRAB WHAT YOU CAN AND HEAD FOR THE SHIP!” I screamed as loud as I could. Chaos fell upon the camp as people ran in every direction, grabbing supplies, weapons and other such things. I began to walk towards the edge of the camp when a hand fell upon my shoulder. I turned around and saw that it was my redguard companion, Ian.
“Where are you going?” he yelled over the chaos.
“I need to get to my tent and get all my things!” I yelled back.
“Its suicide, just leave them behind!” he gasped.
“Were not talking about meager weapons, were talking about artifacts with great power!” I said. He stared at me for a moment then nodded.
“Ian, as soon as everybody gets to the ship begin to set sail I’ll meet up with you when I have everything,” I said. He nodded once more and ran towards the shore. I began to run to my tent, trying not to imagine what I was about to face…
