Batman Arkham City Discussion

Post » Sat Feb 19, 2011 4:03 am

I made a topic like this before but I think it got culled, the first gameplay trailer has just been released http://uk.ign.com/videos/2011/03/15/batman-arkham-city-this-aint-no-place-for-a-hero-trailer?sms_ss=twitter&at_xt=4d7f717a28a468e4,0 (although the audio isn't working for me). The UK release date is October 21. I can't wait for this game, the first one was easily the best game of 2009.

I'd argue about AA being the best game of 2009. But I played and liked it. I'm not much of a Batman fan at all, so it's not really critical that I get AC, but I might just for the combat. It was very fluid in AA.

Hopefully the new stuff they're adding doesn't ruin what made the first one so great. Otherwise, this might be a day one buy for me.

I liked AA, although I've never beaten it and am still stuck on the mission where I need to beat Bane. Yes, I svck. So, I may buy AC on day one as well. Yes, even though I've been stuck on the same level for nearly a year. (I bought the year in late 2010)

EDIT

The music choice for the "This Ain't No Place For A Hero" video absolutely svcked. It was completely out of place with the video. I do however understand the Hero aspect of it. But the song itself was bad.

I liked how both AA and DS did sort of the same thing with both of their sequels. I can't wait for both of them to come down in price. With games such as TES V, Saints3, and Gears3 coming out, I don't think I will have the money to get AC. but it looks really cool! Best batman game ever since the.. gameboy color? or advanced one... I can't remember.

I saw Arkham Asylum for $30 yesterday. Is the game worth buying or should I just get Microsoft points instead?

Beat Batman AA on hard and had a blast. Although I rented it, wasn't really that long of a game but was still fun. I'm hoping AC is more open, as in you can go around the city at any time. Would be sweet.

:D

I'm actually proud that I beat that level now. I either got very close to the end/finished it on hardest difficulty.

The only thing which caused my problems were the combat challenges. I never got 100% because of shock & axe.

I will definitly get this.

I am kinda of a Batman really devoted fan :batman:
