[RELz] Mart's Mutant Mod 1.0 RC 6.0

Post » Sat Feb 19, 2011 1:32 am

I didn't really like FWE, particularly it had too much stuff for my liking.

However given that XFO is old and outdated I'll give it another shot...

The XFO FOIP is the cause of the slow ghouls and impossible glowing ones. It used the original settings from Xodarap as intended, but clearly this was a issue that needed to fixed.

XFO is really really old and outdated, and has issues like the above. Don't use it. If you really must, don't use the XFO FOIP patch and load MMM last, you should get 'normal' ghouls then.

And yes hello everybody, I'm back from hols. Hope to have a MMM RC6.1 with bug fixes as reported in this thread up in a few days.

this mod is probably the best DLC. add voice acting, invent a story line, and make quests that have meaning to the game. if you do that , like heavy amount of work to do that, this would be a never ending Fallout game. replay value would be so much stronger. why are people so shy.. look at how things were done! mr burke for example, a class act! just build on that originality please fill in the gaps so that i can truly live my entire life in the wasteland.

plz man. we already know we can mod our girlfriends into fallout 3. i don't want to live real life, i want to live in fallout 3. there is no reason why i can't. i don't need a girlfriend, i never have had one. all i need is a fallout 3 that i can immerse myself in and never leave.

what if i had cancer in real life? things would change.. i would rather focus on the incredible characters and story and atmosphere and immersion than see Fallout 3 end. We have the cool mods. All we need is there... we just need to build a life for ourselves like Bethesda did when they gave birth to us in that scene where mom dies.

and what about the vault... there is so many lives in other vaults that had to be as least as normal and long lived, so how do we find out their stories and how would we be friends with them?

Sorry for getting a bit personal, but you, my friend, seriously need to turn off your PC, get out of the house and experience real life for a while... I think you'll find that escapism such as Fallout3 is even better when it's not the only thing in your life, but rather a pleasant diversion...

Also please try not to be frivolous about mentioning cancer - having had 2 close relatives experience the pain and suffering (one is still alive, one isn't), I can tell you that their one common desire was to live "real life" as much as possible...

EDIT: I know this has NOTHING AT ALL to do with MMM, or Fallout 3 Mods, but I couldn't help answering to the above poster... I will now stop posting about this and return to the game itself :)

I ran into two deathclaws and a Deathclaw Alpha, along with some Enclave troops. I died horribly. Thanks Mart! :D

If you're looking for a different 'smaller' overhaul that is up to date have a look at http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1112747-relz-arwens-realism-tweaks-thread-no10/

Good to have him back indeed. And just in time for a new thread since we're pushing this one past critical.
