Is it normal for a download to stop downloading and say that it is completed when it hasn't really if your internet is really slow? because i have been trying to get this mod to download for a while now but it just wont finish no matter how may times i try http://www.totalrealismproject.com/dload.php?action=file&file_id=57 i tried downloading it on both google chrome and explorer with no luck. Is there any other way i can download this through utorrent or something different than the internet browser because i think that is the problem.

if your internet is really slow, chances are you may not be able to download it at all. I had to deal with that where I used to live and I went to someone else's house to do it.

Couple of suggestions-

Go to a place with a high internet connection

or

use a different browser. I used to use Safari and Internet Explorer, but then switched to a different browser and my internet speed went way up. Try using Google Chrome or Firefox if you aren't. They are pretty speedy!

You could try to use a download manager such as Orbit Downloader and if the server supports it you can resume the download if your connection drops in the middle without corrupting the download.

yeah, I second the Download manager. I used to have exactly your same problems OP, my downloads would randomly cut out, quite often around 75% or so(or at least it seemed like that), and since I'm on dial-up, anytime I downloaded a big file, that really svcked, so I got a download manager, and haven't had any problems since.
