I agree Completely, That game could've been an incredible RPG but nope someone probably wanted money and simplified gameplay options.

Nope, each of them seems to be a soulless killing machine with no humanity whatsoever, and they love to show it with constant execution, brutality, forced labour camps, etc.

hell most dosent make sense, like for no reason shooting that woman, and leaving her kid... Why ? Oh right, to make them look evil.

It's actually probably to do with the rating system. There's a reason why you can't kill kids in Fallout 3 too.

Yep,

The plot was overall superb

But the way of gameplay was awful

Also, Sonic X Amy, Best-Romance quest-Ever

(I cannot expect less from Bioware anyway)

Bethesda does the testing and the patches, Obsidian develop the game and future DLC.

Also, it was rushed for 2 years, Bethesda Softwork wanted it for 2010, when it could be better in 4 or 6 years

It happened 2 times

Dagerfall wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy back (you cant win the game without AT LEAST, getting one glitch)

Oblivion: At least the PC and XBOX, crash every 3 hours :obliviongate:

I have actually never had Oblivion crash on the 360.

Activision's Secret Service. I don't even want to think about it, it's so terrible.

There's controversy about Homefront? News to me. Last gaming controversy I heard about was the news-media-manufactured "http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2011/02/09/will-bulletstorm-murder-your-children-no/ and also make you kick puppies" nonsense. Haven't heard a peep about Homefront.

A game that makes one kill "Younglings" and kick puppies...? I've never played a game that made me THAT violent, but Bulletstorm does look interesting though.

I don't get what they are trying to prove, Bullet Storm is by far NOT a childrens game.

I hate this controversy [censored], I still think that it is [censored] that people [censored]ed about being able to play as the Taliban in Medal Of Honor forcing the developers to change it. People will do anything for a little fame or money these days.

Also if there is Controversy over Home Front, I Better buy it before they give it a bad name and remove it from shelves. The game looks amazing.

I agree, I think some people fears over what's in a game is just overrated :shakehead: . But Homefront does look rather interesting---I might have a look at it when it comes out.

Basically its whole advertisemant is pretty much "its war... In the US" and adverts use teh recent political tensions in Korea... and the opening scenes try to show the Koreans to be as soulless as possible.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bEI0uMutFVs

Actually from what I understand the game originally set the Chinese to be the antagonists, not the Koreans. They changed it because of trade relations with China or some such business.

The Team Fortress 2 Xbox 360 port, wish they would update it this century.. but we can thank Microsoft for forbidding Valve from updating TF2 for free on 360.. But honestly, I'd be willing to pay 400-800 MS points for all of the updates to come to console.

Oh and how the hell is Homefront a CoD clone? The only things that CoD and Homefront have in common are they're both FPS's, both have a currency system to buy stuff, both have perks, and both have customizable loadouts. Everything else is different. Last time I checked CoD didn't invent any of those things(maybe perks but I don't think so). And there are vehicles, dedicated servers on pc AND console, 32 player PvP, large maps, etc. You clearly haven't seen much gameplay if you think it's a CoD clone.

Metroid Other M.

Everything that made the Metroid series great was thrown right out of the window with that game.

Lord of the Rings Conquest - Yea, give us CRAP when this could've been the Next RPG Style like Elderscroll Game. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Lord_of_the_Rings:_The_White_Council

Star Wars Battlefront 2

Star Wars Force Unleashed 2 - Repetitive and Very Short.

You know, if Valve were really adamant about not making console players pay for updates, then we wouldn't have gotten ANYTHING for the Left 4 Dead games.

Just sayin'...

LOTR Conquest could have been amazing.

Snips

I don't understand how you can hate a games much when you seem to know nothing about it. In this thread and the Homefront thread you express such contempt for this game but you obviously haven't played it, only paid the bare minimum of attention to it and seem to just rant about the rest of it because you don't like CoD and think this is another clone.

Morrowind came out my junior year of college. I went from a 4.0 to a 3.55 for graduation.

Bethesda should apologize to me. :stare:

I was on a prolonged trip for work that ended up taking a year and a half... Morrowind and this forum were good to me.

Personally I'd say they owe us nothing, but that's just my opinion.

Like I said before, if I was Bethesda, I'd never produce another Elder Scrolls game ever again for the crap everyone gave them for Oblivion.

All I remember Bethesda getting a lot of for Oblivion was money and praises.

A long time ago I played a game similar to Mortal Kombat, except it was with dinosaurs and to refill your health you had to eat random humans that ran in front of you. I don't remember what it was called, but it was a real piece of trash.

I wasn't being serious. Actually it was the two years of Latin course with a Johns Hopkins ass clown that sealed it.

WAIT...DID YOU JUST SAY BATTLEFRONT II!!? O.O EXPLAIN PLEASE!

Personally I wasn't too pleased with their removal of some of the battlefields, and the lack of spacecraft in any land battles like in Battlefront II. I loved flying an LAAT in the Battle of Geonosis in BF1.

Even with that, however, I'd still say it's a big improvement from the Star Wars Battlefront. And they named Anakin/Darth Vader's clonetrooper/stormtrooper legion after the costuming organization. Which I still need to get around to joining.

I agree I really missed the Naboo Field level, I don't remember what it was called but it was a massive open plain on naboo. I really did like being able to have dog fights over the battlefield to. Also missed the Tatooine lvl that wasn't mos eisley. I just wish that BF3 didn't get thrown out, would probably have been epic.

When Pandemic got bought out by EA, EA closed them down and some other company got the rights and they decided to just throw it away. Pretty damn stupid!
