whats so wrong with pirating? its copying its not stealing because the original is still in tact its like if someone took your candy bar and the candy bar was still there for you to enjoy

It's like you making paintings for $100 to order, and one person makes photocopies of them and distributes them for free, so nobody bothers to pay for them any more.
but bands dont make much off cds anyway its the record company who make the most most bands make money off Concerts and other gigs
And now the lady who cleans the floor at the record company's office will lose her job because they can't afford to pay her.
yeah because the ceo svcks at paying bands correctly in the first place
Dude........ I can't even think of something witty to say....... are you real? There is no way someone can be this whacked.
Anyway, I think this is hilarious. Why would they need to download a rip? They seriously don't have the file sitting around somewhere?
Also if he downloaded it, that wold mean he was uploading it as well correct? So yeah I can see how this is funny, they want to crack down on it, but they upload torrents themselves.
People are reporting finding the "pirated" mp3s in their legitimately purchased copies of AC:Brotherhood. Who else could have put those files there besides Ubisoft themselves?

Stuff like this seems to happen all the time in the industry. We've seen NoCD cracked exes with signatures from pirate groups used in official releases from all kinds of publishers, not just Ubisoft. I also read about one time when Sega contracted another company to create one of those Genesis collections for them. They asked Sega for the source codes for the games, to which their reply was "Just download the ROMs, man".
