I'm somewhat of a lore nerd and have been RPing a lore-accurate tongue on this forum since before Skyrim was announced. However, being lore accurate is becoming harder becuse – well – there is more lore to take in account and it's kinda new (and some of it is slightly retcon-ish.) So, what's the current list of all know words in the dragon language?

Aren't Dragonborns the only ones able to use Dragon shouts? I thought thu'um was just a cousin of that power practiced by nords...

Dragon born are people who have a natural talent for it, and they can absorb more shouts from the souls of actual dragons.

Thu'um is just a different name for it...

And in theory you could shout out any word in dragonish and it would have some power, albiet probably useless.

There are 20 dragon shouts with 1 to 3 words each. for the shouts alone more than 20 and up to 60.

^ it hought that there were 3 levels of shouts in-game, and as such, when it come out, we will get 60 from that.
