It also does not show the sliders, but I can still alter the age, but the face still does not render. When i hit "generate" or "apply", the Construction kit crashes.

I have heard that unpacking the meshes and textures folders sometimes helps with the issue of face preview crashing the CS. If the sliders are greyed out then I don't know because they are not in my CS. Even if I do not load the Oblivion.ESM file.

How do I unpack the meshes?

Use Oblivion Mod Manager. Search Nexus for that name.

I kinda get this too. When you first open the NPC window check "Full Preview" before changing tabs to Face and see if that works.
