Food.

My house is scarce for food right now, and right now I am eying roast beef, and tortilla wraps, however I have no clue what to put in them, and how I should go about reheating the roast beef, fry it? oven? microwave?.

Anyone have any good roast beef wrap recipes? :)

One of the simplest roast beef recipes that I enjoy is roast beef and swiss on flatbread, heated up so the cheese melts, then heavily salted. It's nothing amazing but it's pretty good. I'm not sure how well it'd go with a tortilla instead of flatbread but it's worth a shot I suppose.

Do you still have the au jus from the roast beef? If not I suggest whipping up a thin gravy and thinly slicing the roast beef and reheating it in the sauce. Do you have vegetables? Something to give it a bit of a crunch, maybe grilled onion and bell pepper? You could make a philly style cheese steak wrap. We need to know more than "I have beef and tortilla"

I was thinking just melted cheese in the wrap, ... and now, adding what SilverEagle posted, I may mix in some mayo, unfortunatley I am scarce on Franks, and any other form of hotsauce. I also could have it on a hamburger bun, ... I am short on regular bread too >.>

Sorry wyatt. Since last night, we have fries, gravy, the juice is gone, and we had sweet peas. That is about all I have that could clash with it.

You need to improvise. Light bulbs will add that extra crunch you need, asbestos from the walls will really help thicken up that gravy, maybe some paint chips for...

Okay well in all seriousness, Wyatt's the chef here so he'd know what to do better than most of us, but considering you have such a small amount of ingredients it seems like you'll have to keep it pretty simple.

Well, if you have gravy, I suggest reheating in that and making a beef dip / open faced sandwich out of it. Melt some cheese on top. Fries on the side. Or you could make a plate of fries with roast beef chunked into the gravy, melted cheese beans/chili if you got that. You have no veggies at all?

Ahh, I cannot see it, save me the potential embarrassment, and tell me ? :D
Annd, that is true.. I could use 'em.

And, Anti, I know, I wasn't hoping for a gourmet meal, I was just seeing what could clash together to fill me up :P
