Curious about timeline across main series?

After peeking at a TES:V suggestion thread about http://www.gamesas.com/bgsforums/index.php?&showtopic=969745 I got curious...

is there any kind of standard time lapse between each game in the series? I mean obviously all four games have taken place during Uriel Septim VII's reign (and death), but I don't know of any finite timeline that illustrates when the events of each game are supposed to have happened, or is this intentionally left vague to account for player action in past games?

Arena was in 3E 399

Daggerfall in 3E405 - 417 (apparently: I've not played it)

Morrowind was in 3E 427

Obilvion was in 3E 433

Shivering Isles in 4E 1, but then history hasn't made that official yet.

Here's the full timeline:

Who knows when it'll be, but I would guess at less than 10 years.

So we got 6 years between Arena and Daggerfall, 10 years between Daggerfall and Morrowind, and 6 years between Morrowind in Oblivion.... I'd say it wouldn't be a great stretch to imagine TES:V being no more than a decade after the events in Oblivion then.

Thanks for the timeline! :touched:
