Ebonarm: The God of War?

Post » Fri Feb 18, 2011 6:58 pm

After reading an article about a random Khajit god, it brought back to mind this name. While lore wasn't well established in Arena, I believe this name made it's debut in Daggerfall, yet I've seen no mention nor reference to it in any other game in the series.

I haven't played Daggerfall enough to uncover information pertaining to Ebonarm, what little I do know I found via the http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Ebonarm#Ebonarm

Does anyone think this God is anything worth delving into or is it most likely that all future games will have Retconned him out of existence?

What information is there pertaining to him?

IMO it's either an Ancestor-Hero or an avatar/aspect of Stuhn. Possibly both. The emnity with Daggerfall's Stendarran faction would actually fit with the latter considering the religious wars fought by Nords against the Alessian reformists to reinstate their old fully-Mannish pantheon.
