What special abilities does your char have

Post » Fri Feb 18, 2011 10:36 pm

I started a new char a few days ago and seems to be really bad ass. Ok here's mine

Special advantages:

Immunie to Forst/fire/shock/poison
Resistant to Magic
Regenerate Health(General)
Rapid Healing(General)

Special Disadvantages:
Critical Weakness to disease
Unable to regenerate Spell points
Unable to use Light powered magery in dark
Unable to use dark powered magery in light
Forbidden weaponry: axe/blunt weapon/missile weapons

Also, i'm an Altmer(High Elf) so i'm also Immune to paralysis.

Pretty much my char is an all out warrior. He doesn't use magic and likes to use longswords

I never give my character any immunities or resistances, just because I find the game too easy as such.

I can't remember my few advantages off the bat, but I often forbid plate armor, axes, blunt weapons, and give critical weakness to disease or poison (just because they're hard to come by anyway, so when I do catch them it's more fun if they're more dangerous).

I had custom thief with similar disadvantages you have and it was great fun to play him. His advantages were different - acute hearing, expertise in short blade and athleticism.
My current character is basically a warrior priest, and I I gave him 3xINT in spell points, Lower magic ability in daylight, Forbidden material silver

i only roll with disadvantages, with intelligence as spellpoints as the only advantage. i've even played a pure mage like this, just keep some restore power potions handy.

The first major decision when choosing abilities is if your char will support magic or completely ignore it. Picking up disabilities like unable to regen magic and unable to use or cast magic gives you a lot of points to spend in abilities.

One of my favorite chars was a dumb nord barbarian who couldn't cast spells or regenerate mana and also couldn't use any kind of armor.

I bumped his strength, endurance, speed, agility and willpower to the maximum and also gave him immunity to paralysis and resistance to magic, fire, frost, etc...

His best skills were sword, h2h, climbing, swimming, running, jumping, archery, dodge, lockpick, stealth, medical.

The guy was an unstoppable killing machine. Only bested by a spellsword at higher levels when magic and enchanting abuses turns the spellsword into a walking God.

I picked immunity to paralysis as well as a few other resistances such as fire etc.

My character mostly resembles a fighter so I just spend my level ups on maximizing speed and agility and strength for the extra kick.
