Breton -> French
Nord -> German
Redguard -> sorta English
Bosmer -> sorta Tolkien-talk
Orc -> typical orcish ("grunth, uh, ugh, ghu" sounds)

Which reminds me, since I'm italian I should probably go for an imperial race's character.

Which reminds me, since I'm italian I should probably go for an imperial race's character.

When you put it like that it looks like "Latin Breton", "French Nord", "German Redguard", etc.

And if you're male, your surname will begin as "gro-" but if you're female it will begin as "gra-," and that your surname is also your parents name. ^_^

Bretons are French, oh god.

I always thought Nord, would be Russian, or Swedish, Dansih, or kind of a combination of all those languages including others from the northern pennisula thing in Europe (dont really know what it is called.)

And what do you mean ny Tolkien talk, and what about all the other races?

Can't-Be-Arsed is my personal favourite. He was a lazy argonian who outright refused to do any work at all, I never got very far on him...

There's just one thing - why are there no surnames for the Nords?

When naming a Nord all you really need to do is look at tyoical Viking names or modern Norwegian names. Then again, this is a fantasy game and I imagine surnames such as "Bloodaxe" or "Mountainhammer" (The last one is a direct translation of the name of my home town

) would be used by some, I rarely actually play Nords just because they feel too familiar to be as fun as the other more exotic races (Dunmer :wub: )

It could be because the people the Nords are based on used surnames like Honmundson instead of a familyname. I could be wrong though.
