Haven't played since 1.5, mod problems with 1.7

Well, after not playing this game for quite a while, I decided to re-install it + the pitt/anchorage expansion.

Right off the bat, the game would crash with no error after clicking "play" from the launcher. I downloaded the 1.7 patch and tried to apply it but kept getting an error about a windows live related DLL being missing. I applied the 1.5 patch I had, then the 1.7 patch worked. I also applied the unnofficial patch.

I downloaded and applied the following mods...no repair needed(pitt), My Megaton House, Enlave Commander 075, GWL disabler.

Anyways, the game loads and runs fine...but player.additems 0000000f, [number of caps I want] doesn't seem to work. I also am unable to choose a follower using the enclave commander mod.

Did I do something wrong when I installed the game? And are there other steps I should have taken, or not taken, in order to mod this version 1.7? Back when I had 1.5 I used pretty much the same mods, older versions at that time, and had no issues at all.

The patches don't like each other. De-install FO3, download the Games For Windows Life Client, and install the game and apply the 1.7 patch.

The game seems to be running fine now, and the coins cheat works now. All I did was disable the EnclaveCommander075 in the game's mod manager...which brings up my next question, when did the game get its own mod manager? Apparently I don't need to install FOMM or FO3Edit.

Also, would anyone happen to know which version of EnlaveCommander will work for my particular setup? I have the Pitt/Anchorage expansion, not the other(broken steel and etc)...and on the EC090 nexus page it says I need Broken Steel and script extender to use it. Not sure what to do here.

The Megaton house mod, and no repair needed mod both seem to be working fine so far. The only real problem I'm having now is not being able to focus out of the game window in order to mutli-task, the game seems to disable my windows button which means I need to alt + tab to another window in order to view it. I have the game in windowed 1440x810 mode on a 22" screen.
