Don't forget that the turrets in brink wont have anywhere near the insane firepower they have in TF2.
And also worth keeping in mind is that unlike TF2 the Turrets cannot be Moved, and they can't turn 360 degrees.
Not to mention the more turrets you place the more turrets the enemy operatives can use against you
I am sure those gattling turrets will pack a punch.
Holy hell Wraith, you'd have 3 engies, 3 meds, but only 1 soldier (and 1 op)?! I'd definitely swap one of those engies for a solly, if it was me. For the ammo as well as the 'pew pew'.
Thinking about a general 'cookie cutter' team setup akin to TF2 (only in that it's class based) for competitive teams, here's an idea:
Two medics, one heavy and one medium.
One heavy soldier.
One light or medium engineer.
One light or medium operative.
That's for 5v5. If it was 6v6, then add:
One medium soldier or engineer.
That team should allow enough flexibility with enough power that skilled and coordinated players and teams will have the best chance of success. ^_^
It revolves around the heavy med and solly pair to be the ones defending right by the objective or pushing directly for it. The engy covers a flank or flanks the enemy. The op does likewise, probably staying near enough the engy that they can get to each other if necessary. The med-med* is a general go-between, who is focussed on fire support, but with the bonus of being a medic.

That was the old build, I am working on a more flexible one.
1: Lights (Dagger)
Operative/Engineer: Light rifle
Medic: Light rifle
Engineer/ Soldier: SMG
2. Mediums (Sword)
Engineer/Soldier: Assault Rifle & Light rifle
Medic: Shotgun & Light rifle
3. Heavy (Hammer)
Soldier: GL & Assault Rifle
Medic: Auto shotgun & Assault Rifle
Engineer/ Operative: Minigun & Assault Rifle
Having dual builds will allow this team to set up different strategies.
