And, actually, I imagine the peasants would find magic fairly amusing, whether it was faked or not.

Even those born under the sign of the Atronach can use magicka, it just doesn't automatically replenish itself and they have to rely on potions and absorb magicka spells.

Such a trick would be more effective in Hammerfell, where for the majority magic is 'for the weak or wicked'. Nation of agile warriors FTW

This guy is obviously on to something.
Lets just remove all the magic and make it fake, the whole game will be about fooling people! Marvelous!
