I'm Afraid about a FREEDOM

Do you mean the different regions (volcanic, tundra, fall forest, snow) will be separate cells and you will have to load into them like you load into cities and dungeons in oblivion.

Yes, that's what I'm talking about... May be that made designing open cities easier

I hope you are right

Come on, think about it. How would they show were each cell ends and another begins? An invisible wall? A real wall that's in the middle of no where? Do you know how much wall there would have to be in this game to make it work? :P Some of the regions are pretty big and having a wall around all of them would not only be impracticle, but would also seprarate the seasonal feel. One moment it would be all snow, and then we'd go through a loading screen to the next region and it would be fall? I just cant see Beth doing that. The regions need to blend into each other, and having a wall separating each would kill the blending, so I don't see it happening.

Not to mention there's a giant gorge running through the left side of skyrim along with a river. How would they separate each cell with rivers flowing through different regions? A flood gate for each and every river, even the minor ones that are little more than creeks? I just can't see it happening.

Edit: Don't quote me Dragonborn1. Nothing is confermed, this is just my view on things.

I suspect that the freedom in Skyrim will be just as great if not better than Oblivion's.

You're not restricted anywhere. You can go wherever you please, do whatever you please. If they tell you "Go to the north and talk to xyz", then ignore them and do your own thing.

That's the beauty of The Elder Scrolls. There are people here that will tell you that in the years they've had Oblivion, the farthest they got in the MQ was handing the Emperor's bling to Jauffre.

I got so sick of going into what is essentially the same dungeon all the bloody time that I never even did that, the Oblivion crisis itself was just an annoyance. i did the MQ once then immediately moved on to a new character that didn't even start it.

I reckon we won't be able to climb every mountain...ford every stream... follow every rainbow... (sorry).

I reckon the mountains will only be able to climbed along certain paths and not like MW/Ob where you could pass over them in any direction. Todd mentions it in the Podcast how the mountains make the gameworld feel larger.
