community stats : Othor Games

I'm pro-stats. What can I say I just like to look at them and compare them to my friends. If having stats makes you camp or play different, that's your own problem. Now I understand nobody wants to play with campers just trying to raise their KDR, but there are plenty of stat options other than KDR. I know a lot of people on here trash CoD and say it's full of campers, but they had a great idea in Black Ops when they implemented score per minute which was basically the main stat over KDR. I would love something like that in this game.

I think there are leaderboards/scoreboards or whatever, but I don't know if it includes K/D's. I know XP is collected, but I've heard conflicting info. about whether
or not K/D's are included.

I think K/D's are not continually tracked is what I think they meant?

Anyway, I think they will have some kind of leaderboard thing, but I don't know if the SD site itself will have it for the whole community like your Battlefield example. :shrug:

Personally, I'm one of those who never really look at scoreboards for any game (in fact, I forgot those existed---I was like, what, my games keep track of my gaming habits? That's shady. *shifty eyes* Just kidding, lol. :tongue:). I guess it's because I usually play single-player story mode/campaigns for most games and single-player games and I usually care more about the story and having casual fun with my games. I'm not a hardcoe person at all, so stats usually go over my head (I didn't even what K/D's are for a long time, lol)---unless it's a game in which having a good score gets you bonus game-money or game items or to pass to the next level or something.

So, I wouldn't mind either way on this issue. I hope there's a leaderboard for those people who DO want it, though.
